Alzheimer's Test
Alzheimer's Test-
YOU WILL THANK ME FOR THIS!
Count the "F's" in the following text:
FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS...(see below)
Managed it ?
Scroll down only after you have counted them, okay?
Do you think there are three? How many ? 3?
Wrong, there are 6 !!--no joke.
Read it again.
The reasoning behind it is further down. The brain cannot process "OF".
Incredible or what ? Go back and look again!!
Anyone who counts all 6 "F's" on the first go is a genius. Three is normal, four is quite rare.
30 Days living with a Muslims family
OK,
Although I had a massive headache, I stayed tuned to watch the FX episode for the sake of you Bloggers J
This is how it went down;
Day 1: David is a Christian who agreed to live with a Muslim family for 30 days to see if his own personal believed towards Muslims and Islam was right.
He dressed as a Muslim (Pakistani men dress) and he went to the airport to catch his flight. The looks he got at the airport are not strange to us Muslims, but it was funny to watch him get all those looks and see how it feels to be a Muslim for a change.
Day 2: Then he met the Muslim family and it was funny how the Muslim husband told him he can’t stay at home alone with the wife while the husband is at work. Then he makes the trip to the mosque to watch the people pray.
He also learned it’s polite to take shoes off when you first enter a house.
Day 3: He woke up at 5:30 by a loud Athan from a small radio and he didn’t like it much I can tell he watched them pray then went back to sleep.
After he was told he cant stay at home while husband is out, he went to explore Dearborn Michigan (1/3 of city population are Muslims). He went to buy more clothes and the sales lady was an Iraqi woman who had her 2 brothers killed by Saddam and the 3rd jailed for 10 years.
Day 4: He went to meet with the Imam of the Mosque Imam Ali Hussaini and he asked a lot of questions, he was shocked to learn that Jews, Christians and Muslims pray to same God.
Day 5: He still goes to the mosque and watches them pray but having real hard time praying. At Friday prayers he stood watching them feeling very uncomfortable.
Day 6: While talking to Imam Hussaini he is having hard time believing we pray to the same God. But Imam Hussaini answered him: you are here to learn not to believe.
Day 10: He was invited to a bachelor party, which was simply at a gym where men played basketball. He was kinda shocked and said this is the first time I see a bachelor party like that.
Day 12: He met with Imam Hussaini again, the Imam told him while conversing about Christianity, and if Jesus was God and Jesus died on the cross then it won’t add up because God doesn’t die. And while they were talking David had his legs crossed and his foot was facing the Imam, the Imam told him that was impolite and explained it to him.
There were interviews with common people on the street by the show host, and he would play the Athan for them and ask them what is that, they said they would be pissed if they hear it. In Dearborn they play Athan out loud and there were lawsuits and civil right issues because of it.
Day 13: David stood besides praying men but did not bow down.
Day 14: He started taking Arabic classes; it was funny watching him pronounce the gha and qa.
Day 15: His Arabic teacher was an Imam I guess that he felt closer to then Imam Hussaini, the Imam explained to him why women pray behind me, (so men can concentrate and not be distracted by women). And he was giving a cheat sheet explaining the prayers to him.
Day 19: He was out with his new friend (new Imam) and was talking about what do you do for fun, and what’s wrong with a bear or two, and the Imam was telling how it is important to have responsible fun and if you can drink one bear what stops you from drinking 2,3,4,5?!
Day 21: David and the host family went to a live stock farm and he saw a pig there and talked how he misses eating pork.
Day 22: He met one of the host family friends and he introduced himself as Dawood instead of David. Then they went on explaining Halal food and what it means no pork no alcohol. And he went and got some halal meat for the host family. AT dinner they had an argument about sleeper cells and the 9/11. The host husband told him why call them bad Muslims, why not bad people! And talked about guilt by association and how Muslims shouldn’t apologized for 9/11.The husband went on saying why don’t you think what brought those people to commit the 9/11 (that was the time the wise wife intervened and declared its time for prayers).
Day 25: David met with Muslim lawyers who work for CAIR and talked about racial profiling and hate crimes against Muslims. Then he was given a petition about how Muslims are being victims of racial profiling and was asked to get signatures from American public, he was facing rejection more than anything else from Americans.
Day 26: He was a guest on a radio show and received phone calls from listeners; someone asked him if he saw any terrorist activities!! Another asked why Muslims leaders wouldn’t denounce terrorist acts.
Day 27: David has a better understanding of the word Jihad and believes he is going through his own Jihad.
Day 28: He FINALY washes and prays the Friday prayers (while holding a small cross).
Day 29: They have a goodbye party for him, got him a cake and he tells his Imam that he enjoyed his friendship and the Imam tells him now you have a TRUST, if you hear anything wrong about Islam its your duty to correct it.
One funny scene: while he was leaving he tells the couple Salaam, and raises his hand with a gesture.
Husband: Did he just flip me?
Wife: That was a peace sign dude.
loooooooooool
Day 30: He goes back home, have a beer with the host and shaves his beard and dresses in shorts. But he goes on saying: Muslims are not violent people, they are awesome people, compassionate and we shouldn’t discriminate against not only American Muslims but Muslims world wide.
End of story J
I think that was a good think, we don’t want to convert him, we want to take the ignorance away and open his eyes to what we Muslims are about.

Arab Comedy in the US
Howdy,
I always wanted to be a comedian, but there are several things preventing me from fullfilling my dream..
I love watching comedy bits and a big fan of Standups.
Here is a link of few Arab Comedians. What I like about them is theyare using thier humor as a tool to market our long awaited activism. Unlike some of the old Arab Comedians who used to poke fun of others to get a laugh or two.
Comedy has changed alot and it is much more witty than what it used to be.
Here is an article about some of the new ones. Here is a Clip for comedian Ahmad Ahmad.
And here is my favorite of all MAZ JOBRANI . Feel free to browse through his clips and let me know.
See ya :-)

So I'm still depressed. A friend sent me this link to add to my misery, I kept on playing the same clip over and over and over, till I got so out and I'm going to take a nap, hoping when I wake up all my Nakadah disappear.
Here is the POEM, and here is the Poet link TAREK ELMEHYAS .

I'm all drained out of energy :-(
OK,
For the past couple of months I have been feeling down and useless. I'm usually very positive even if things get blue. But lately I have been feeling drained of everything positive, nothing good to latch on, no real friends to talk to, no direction to go for; I have been feeling lost and BLAH!
I'm just there! I mean I don’t know if the new business is right for me, or my new partner is the right person to share your wealth and expertise with. But I'm there and have no plans (or energy) to go somewhere else.
School is school graduating in Dec and going after the MBA afterwards still. Nothing wrong there but it is becoming a routine.
Social friends = Zero!!
I don't have one single friend to spend time with. All are busy in their own life.
I guess this is the price of living overseas. Its part of it I guess.
OK, that was my Sunday Venting. Thank You for Reading :-)

BATMAN RUCKS!!! + 2006 CIVIC SI
OK,
I'm PALFORCE, and I buy bootleg movies.
(Yall suppose to say: HELLO PALFORCEEEEEE!)
LOL
Ok It was a bad copy, so I am going to see it at the theatre. Love the movie (about time they did serious script and steered away from commercializing it.
WOW Bloggers! I'm reading Kuwait various Blogs and I'm extremely impressed mashallah I could not find another Arabic Blogger group like this one, (applause). I would like to take this moment to thank the people in charge of Kuwaitblogs and safat. 3afya shabab :-)
OK, I'm sitting at the shop selling mobiles and servicing PCs, and as you see it's slow and I'm bored to my ears.
I went to the Honda dealership to check out the 2005 Civic SI, Digging it, I bought me 2005 Civic LX Sedan back in January and I'm already thinking about the SI. But I guess I gotta wait on the 2006 SI it looks GRREEEAAATTTTTTTTTT!!!!!
The Civic Si Concept celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Civic Si legacy in the U.S. and builds on its performance heritage with a 200-horsepower, 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC engine with an 8,000 rpm red line, mated to a close ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Helping to put all that power to the ground is a helical-type limited slip differential for improved launch traction and cornering performance.
The Si will definitely be a coupe The body is said to be low and wide and quite sporty in appearance, borrowing some styling cues from several current Honda and Acura models, particularly the flared wheel wells with circular arches. The A-pillar has a dramatic sweep, very similar to the rake shown in the spyshots of the European Civic that were published earlier. The projector headlight housings are said to be shaped like the TSX's Track-tuned suspension sits as much as 1" lower than stock, wheel well gaps are said to be minimal. The Si will use 17" wheels with 205 or 215mm width tires. The transmission will be a standard 6MT The engine is said to be i-VTEC, with at least 200hp. Supposedly the possibility exists that it will get 210 hp or more The seats will be quite sporty with fairly aggressive bolstering A Navi system is rumored to be an option Si will launch slightly later than regular coupe and sedan models, late in Q4 of 2005.

WORK vs. PRISON
Morning,
I got this email from a friend and I would to share it with you on this fine Monday morning :-P
Work vs Prison
IN PRISON... you spend the majority of your time in an 8X10 cell .
AT WORK... you spend the majority of your time in a 6X8 desk cubicle .
IN PRISON...you get three meals a day .
AT WORK...you only get a break for one meal and you pay for it .
IN PRISON...you get time off for good behavior .
AT WORK...you get more work for good behavior .
IN PRISON...the guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you .
AT WORK...you must carry around a security card and open all the doors For yourself .
IN PRISON...you can watch TV and play games .
AT WORK...you get fired for watching TV and playing games .
IN PRISON...you get your own toilet .
AT WORK...you have to share with some idiot who pees on the seat .
IN PRISON...they allow your family and friends to visit .
AT WORK...you can't even speak to your family on the phone .
IN PRISON...the taxpayers pay all expenses with no work required .
AT WORK...you get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners .
IN PRISON...you must deal with sadistic wardens .
AT WORK...they are called managers .
Have a Great Day at WORK - I'm going to PRISON
O V E R R A T E D ! !
OK,
I have a huge complain about people who are looking into buying a PC that I need to get off my chest.
People who are use Computers are categorized into groups, such as; super user, regular user, newbie, geek, addict, programmer, gamers, and so on.
Now if you are looking to buy a computer you need to find out your purpose why do you need one for?!
So, let's go back to my friend (let’s call him Mr. C (C Drive... get it?)
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 3aleeeeeeeenaaaaaaaaaaa!
Moving on people, nothing to see here!!
OK, where were we?!
Yes, if Mr. C never used a computer before and don’t know anything about them, then in the pursue of buying a new PC he shouldn't really care about certain things that can be over rated.
For example;
1- If he has a DVD player at home he should care about a DVD player.
2- If he doesn’t do graphics or into gaming, he shouldn't get a 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz- 2 DIMMs.
3- If he lives at a studio, he shouldn't buy a laptop and a desktop and then get a WIRELESS router.
I tried to tell him to buy a P4 1.2Mhz 256RAM 40G HD.
But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
He spent 3.5k on a setup of a laptop+desktop+wireless network.
But again I guess if you have enough money to waste, your friend shouldn’t write a blog bitching about your spending habits :-)
CSI
Maaaan, I love this show, CSI. I think I would love to have this job, I am gifted with an analytic mentality, and the problem is Death is the only thing that makes me weep like a child. I mean I can be sitting home watching T.V and whenever there is a death scene or somebody dying I start going banana, that’s why I try to avoid these scenes or situations even. Well that’s why I won't go into studying to be a CSI :-)

Finals are over *phew*
Salam,
Friday 6:56 P.M
I got home from work Friday night and I still have 10 chapters need to be ready by Saturday at 7:00 A.M. Well, I took a nap and woke up at 11:45 P.M and I started studying until 5:45 A.M then took a shower went to KINKO’S to have my essay printed and neatly put in a binder. At the class we had a lecture for 3 looooong hours, I thought I’m gonna die, then after lunch they gave us the test, I really don’t remember much but I think I did O.K.

Salam,
OK it's 1:39 a.m and I'm up again, I have two days to type a 100 page, How the hell am I gonna be able to do that?! :-
I always do that. and I could never learn.
Remember the Kuwaiti blogger that I emailed?
She emailed back with a detailed instruction on how to find jobs in Kuwait and everything about it as well, she was very helpful mashallah. She believed in Karma and doing good to people will surely come back to her in the end.
Nice to see Nice people ! :-)
.... Yes the paper... I'm trying to forget about it....*sighs*.. I wish it was like Moving.
Instead of moving yourself we simply hire 4 Mexican Amigos and they do all the job for $8/hour each.
Why can't I hire a Mexican to do my paper?!1 Hmmmm!
Other than the language barrier he would need to know about HR Management...Hmmm!
Tough One. I think its time to empower my employees.....
I should first interview them, then make sure he has a College degree, AND in the Business field.
Hmmm!!
But then he wont be standing at the BP station looking for work would he ?!
OK, Plan B!
Start working on my paper by myself and hope I can finish in time.

Blogging Newbie !
Salam,
Well, I was browsing for Kuwaiti recruiting websites and I stumbled upon a plethora of Kuwaiti Blog sites. I was impressed so much I had to join the Blogging movement :-)
Kuwaiti Blogging sites gives Kuwait a different edge, things look prettier from this corner. Such as the used mobile store, or the Lo Notre picture. I have to give credit to http://www.248am.com/ they are the one who kept me on reading their Blog and search for others.
I even emailed one of the Bloggers, they are gonna think I'm a freak! Oh well :-)
This is gonna be a slow start I can tell from now, I'm running out of ideas :P
I think adding pictures to my Blog makes it more colorful . I'll make sure to remember that.
