Salam, Lulu from cafelulu posted about Maysoon's Kids new non- Profit foundation which deals with the growing population of disabled children in Palestine. Maysoon Zayid is an Arab/American Comedian, I love her humor and I applaude her activism, she has been to the AAI leadership seminar and she is very active when it comes to helping out fellow Palestinians. Introducing Maysoon's Kids June 25th, 2006 Maysoon's Kids was founded in April 2001 by comedian/actress Maysoon Zayid to address the needs of the growing population of disabled children in Palestine during the second Intifada. For three months a year Maysoon personally goes to 11 different Palestinian refugee camps and villages (Dheisha, Askar Ijdeed, Amiree, Kalandia, Jalazon, Silwad, Deir Ammar, Deir Abu Misheil, Khalil, Abu Deis, Lid, and is hoping to add Jenin in summer 2006). In the camps, Maysoon runs an art program for disabled, wounded, and at risk refugee children. The program also provides diapers, shoes, toys, and underclothing — all made in Palestine — for Palestinian orphans; as well as eye exams, glasses, computers, and prescription medicine for disabled and wounded Palestinian refugee children. Recently, Maysoon has begun promoting the importance of education by providing tutors for Seniors in high school so they can graduate and finding families to sponsor their college education in the States.

27 June, 2006 As I sat watching the "Miami Seven" alleged terrorist cell arrest unfold on national TV, I held my breath, hoped, and prayed that they were not Middle Eastern. I thanked God when I learned that the seven suspected terrorists were neither Muslims nor Arabs. This group never worshiped in an Islamic mosque, and there is no affiliation whatsoever between them and any Muslim or Arab group. In fact the seven were a 'bunch of losers' with only gangster affiliations. Sources in Miami confirmed that it was with the help of an "Arab Speaking" contact in Miami, who presented himself as an Al-Quaeda operative that these would-be terrorists were arrested. The man was actually cooperating with the authorities. Why doesn't our government and the media spell it out? Simply state the obvious: it was a Muslim or an Arab who infiltrated the "Miami Seven" terror cell in order to protect our homeland security. America's Arab and Muslim communities are always questioned for their reaction only when violent or tragic events take place here and abroad, thereby equating them in people's minds with violence instead of positive contributions. Let's face it, would our government have been able to catch these thugs in Miami had it not been for the Arabic-speaking "under-cover" person? Of course not. But concealing this fact was a moment of pride denied to America's Arab/Muslim communities. All this brought to mind, Christa Mcauliffe who was chosen to be the first teacher in space and who perished in the Challenger disaster in 1986. Sadly, no one knew she was of Arab background until years later, and by then it was too late. Why are Arabs only spotlighted as criminals? What about our Arab American heroes? Why are they never mentioned? Regardless of whether America's Arab/Muslim community are recognized for their contributions or not, our government, news media and the public at large should take more seriously the efforts of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), The Arab American Institute, and The Arab American Anti-Discrimination committee in this area. CAIR National Board Chairman, Parvez Ahmed said it best the day after the Miami arrest,"The American Muslim community stand with local and national law enforcement bodies in seeking to keep our nation safe and secure."

Church burning in Alabama

Salam, Today I'm going to talk about a Hate Crime that went unpunished in Alabama. I mean just because those men didn't fit the profile so I guess they didn't mean it. Three Jewish college students burnt down nine churches, and had every black churchgoer in Alabama scared to death. They appeared to have used specially-designed, military-grade thermite bombs for this. Why is NO ONE covering this as a hate crime!! Why did NO mainstream media outlets report that these three boys were JEWISH???

Their defense is - "It was all a prank."

Republican Congressman Spencer Bachus of Alabama visited Bibb County Friday "to see the destruction firsthand." "My deepest sympathies are with the residents of Bibb County and members of the affected churches," Bachus said in a statement released by his office. "Federal, state and local resources are being exhausted to find those responsible for these heinous acts. ... My prayer is that the people of Bibb County can soon begin to heal."

Whether these were crimes of adolescent boredom—joyriding teenagers with nothing to do who decided to see how many churches they could burn in how short a period of time, or fires set to cover simple burglaries, or even hate crimes directed against the local religious community, the sheer number of investigators assigned to this case will in all likelihood quickly lead to the fire setters themselves. Teenagers, especially if more than one is involved, may talk, perhaps brag to others about what they did. It is, after all, the aftermath of the arson, seeing the results of their “handiwork,” that gives many arsonists the psychological reward or satisfaction they seek. Other suspects will likely be identified by the physical evidence found at the crime scenes and by the combined efforts of investigators and local residents in bringing these criminals to justice.

How Come No Hate Crime Charges? These Psychos burnt down nine churches, and had every black churchgoer in Alabama scared to death. You just don't burn nine Baptist churches without an agenda. The damage is over two million dollars. Three firemen were injured.

It's weird..... I guess it's part of getting old... I have 2 numbers in my cell phone name directory who have passed away and moved on.... I don't know why I never deleted their names..... Each time I come across Bassam or Aiman I cast a prayer for them and pray for God's mercy upon their souls...... I have been talking to MET life insurance agent about life insurance...... I want to leave something behind when it's time for me to depart............ But is it money that my kids need? They can spend it in no time..... What can I leave them after I move on to another life? Well, I guess being there for them and being all I can be..... I mean how do I want my kids to remember me? Good father maybe, or that I did my best to put food on the table?....... I really wish they still love each other the same way they do now, I wish they are love one another at older age.... I guess the best life insurance out there is raising them right, healthy , God fearing and full of good morals...... *sighs* Peace

Back with few rants.

Salam, I finally moved to another city closer to my work. Each time I move I swear I will never move again and a year or two I move, but the process has got a lot better for me from past experience. In the 1990's I used to ask a couple of friends to come and help me move, the largest thing I would have a couch or a my queen size mattress. Then late 1990's I would go and hire a couple of Mexicans and pay them per hour and they would move me in no time. Well, this time I researched moving companies. I got a quote to me for $1300, then I kept on digging and I found out you can hire loaders/unloaders. Meaning I only hire men power to load and unload the truck that I would be renting and driving. I hired 4 guys for $100/hour and they came and inspect my place and gave me a time span of 1 1/2 loading and 1 1/2 unloading totaling 3 hours= $300 + truck/Gas($200)= $500... Not bad eh? We started at 7 a.m Saturday and we were done by mid day. Ok, moving on... I would like to talk about few rants that have been bothering me for a while.... Sometimes things happens, and issues arise. Politicos plays a huge role in the Middle East and things can swing either way depending on decisions governments take. Let's take the Jordan/Hamas issue, people in Jordan have been friends even relatives for ages, and when something shady like this happens both sides started throwing the other side with stones and it is like we are worse enemies. And now the Palestinians this and the Palestinians that. And here is my take on the issue, I don't really give a hoot about if the story is right or not. Whoever is guilty should pay the price. The sad thing is that people started changing colors and some started attacking all Palies. I don't care really to associate with such group. If you are ignorant and can only see black or white you are worthless to me, I always strive on being around people who see beyond race/color/sex. Now, let's take the issue of those IAF deputies who got jailed for visiting ZARQAWI family. Although I hate Zarqawi, Bin Laden and the whole ALQAEDA shindig, isn't this abuse of freedom of expression? I mean if you want to talk "Democracy" then you have to understand it is a two way street, you can not have your cake and eat it too... Those IAF deputies although supporting the wrong figure but it is still an issue of freedom of expression and jailing them is against "Democracy". If you are Palestinian, say so don't be shame of who you are, all those Palestinians who claim they are otherwise, Palestine care less about you anyways. If you are Muslim , be proud and act like one. Don't be a puppet for those claiming to bring Democracy to the Middle east. I mean I don't have to become and atheist or support anti Islam movements so others can call me open minded Arab. I see a lot of bloggers brown nosing non-Muslims in hope to cope and become a part of the Western Norm. I can still be a good Muslim and fight terrorism and those who bring Islam a bad name. Ok, that's all for now... I'm part of Palestineblogs. Which I never knew it exists.. GMAT in 4 hours!! That's all folks.

إسلام أكبر داعي للنصرانية في كندا!!!

هذا كان أكبر داعيه للنصرانيه في كندا يعلن اسلامه ويتحول إلى أكبر داعيه للإسلام فى كندا ، كان من المبشرين النشطين جدا في االدعوة إلى النصرانية وأيضا هو من الذين لديهم علم غزير بالكتاب المقدس Bible . هذا الرجل يحب الرياضيات بشكل كبير ...لذلك يحب المنطق أو التسلسل المنطقي للأمور... في أحد الأيام أراد أن يقرأ القرآن بقصد أن يجد فيه بعض الأخطاء التي تعزز موقفه عند دعوته للمسلمين للدين النصراني ... كان يتوقع أن يجد القرآن كتاب قديم مكتوب منذ 14 قرن يتكلم عن الصحراء وما إلى ذلك... لكنه ذهل مما وجده فيه ....بل واكتشف أن هذا الكتاب يحوي على أشياء لا توجد في أي كتاب آخر في هذا العالم ...... كان يتوقع أن يجد بعض الأحداث العصيبة التي مرت على النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم مثل وفاة زوجته خديجة رضي الله عنها أو وفاة بناته وأولاده.... لكنه لم يجد شيئا من ذلك ...... بل الذي جعله في حيرة من أمره انه وجد أن هناك سورة كاملة في القرآن تسمى سورة مريم وفيها تشريف لمريم عليها السلام لا يوجد مثيل له في كتب النصارى ولا في أناجيلهم!! ولم يجد سورة باسم عائشة أو فاطمة رضي الله عنهن..... وكذلك وجد أن عيسى عليه السلام ذكر بالاسم 25 مرة في القرآن في حين أن النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يذكر إلا 5 مرات فقط فزادت حيرة الرجل .... اخذ يقرا القرآن بتمعن اكثر لعله يجد مأخذا عليه ....ولكنه صعق بآية عظيمة وعجيبة ألا وهي الآية رقم 82 في سورة النساء : "أفلا يتدبرون القرآن ولو كان من عند غير الله لوجدوا فيه اختلافا كثيرا " يقول الدكتور ملير عن هذا الآية : " من المبادئ العلمية المعروفة في الوقت الحاضر هو مبد إيجاد الأخطاء أو تقصي الأخطاء في النظريات إلى أن تثبت صحتها وهو ما يسمى بـ Falsification test .... والعجيب أن القرآن الكريم يدعوا المسلمين وغير المسلمين إلى إيجاد الأخطاء فيه ولن يجدوا ......"يقول أيضا عن هذه الآية : " لا يوجد مؤلف في العالم يمتلك الجرأة ويؤلف كتابا ثم يقول هذا الكتاب خالي من الأخطاء ولكن القرآن على العكس تماما يقول لك لا يوجد أخطاء بل ويعرض عليك أن تجد فيه أخطاء ولن تجد " أيضا من الآيات التي وقف الدكتور ملير عندها طويلا هي الآية رقم 30 من سورة الأنبياء: "أولم ير الذين كفروا أن السماوات والأرض كانتا رتقا ففتقناهما وجعلنا من الماء كل شي حي أفلا يؤمنون" يقول: "إن هذه الآية هي بالضبط موضوع البحث العلمي الذي حصل على جائزة نوبل في عام 1973 وكان عن نظرية الانفجار الكبير وهي تنص أن الكون الموجود هو نتيجة انفجار ضخم حدث منه الكون بما فيه من سماوات وكواكب " فالرتق هو الشي المتماسك في حين أن الفتق هو الشيء المتفكك فسبحان الله يقول الدكتور ملير : " الان ناتي الى الشيء المذهل في امر النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم والادعاء بان الشياطين هي التي تعينه والله تعالى يقول : "وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ 210 وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَايَسْتَطِيعُونَ 211 إِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ 212 " الشعراء ويقول سبحانه وتعالى" فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ 98 " النحل ارايتم ؟؟ هل هذه طريقة الشيطان في كتابة اي كتاب ؟؟ يؤلف كتاب ثم يقول قبل ان تقرأ هذا الكتاب يجب عليك ان تتعوذ مني ؟؟ ان هذه الايات من الامور الاعجازية في هذا الكتاب المعجز ! وفيها رد منطقي لكل من قال بهذه الشبهة " من القصص التي ابهرت الدكتور ملير ويعتبرها من المعجزات هي قصة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مع ابي لهب .......... يقول الدكتور ملير : "هذا الرجل ابو لهب كان يكره الاسلام كرها شديدا لدرجة انه كان يتبع محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم اينما ذهب ليقلل من قيمة ما يقوله الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم,اذا راى الرسول يتكلم لناس غرباء فانه ينتظر حتى ينتهي الرسول من كلامه ليذهب اليهم ثم يسألهم ماذا قال لكم محمد؟ لو قال لكم ابيض فهو اسود ولو قال لكم ليل فهو نهار المقصد انه يخالف اي شيء يقوله الرسول الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم ويشكك الناس فيه . قبل 10 سنوات من وفاة ابي لهب نزلت سورة في القران اسمها سورة المسد , هذه السورة تقرر ان ابو لهب سوف يذهب إلى النار , اي بمعنى اخر ان ابو لهب لن يدخل الاسلام . خلال عشر سنوات كل ما كان على ابو لهب ان يفعله هو ان ياتي امام الناس ويقول "محمد يقول اني لن اسلم و سوف ادخل النار ولكني اعلن الان اني اريد ان اد خل في الاسلام واصبح مسلما !! , الان مارايكم هل محمد صادق فيما يقول ام لا ؟ هل الوحي الذي ياتيه وحي الهي؟ . لكن ابو لهب لم يفعل ذلك تماما رغم ان كل افعاله كانت هي مخالفة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم لكنه لم يخالفه في هذا الامر يعني القصة كانها تقول ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول لابي لهب انت تكرهني وتريد ان تنهيني , حسنا لديك الفرصة ان تنقض كلامي ! ..... لكنه لم يفعل خلا ل عشر سنوات !! لم يسلم ولم يتظاهر حتى بالاسلام !! عشر سنوات كانت لديه الفرصه ان يهدم الاسلام بدقيقة واحدة ! ولكن لان الكلام هذا ليس كلام محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ولكنه وحي ممن يعلم الغيب ويعلم ان ابا لهب لن يسلم . كيف لمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ان يعلم ان ابا لهب سوف يثبت ما في السورة ان لم يكن هذا وحيا من الله؟؟ كيف يكون واثقا خلال عشر سنوات ان مالديه حق لو لم يكن يعلم انه وحيا من الله؟؟ لكي يضع شخص هذا التحدي الخطير ليس له الا امر واحد هذا وحي من الله " تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ 1 مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ 2 سَيَصْلَى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ 3 وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ 4 فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ 5 يقول الدكتور ملير عن اية ابهرته لاعجازها الغيبي : "من المعجزات الغيبية القرانية هو التحدي للمستقبل باشياء لايمكن ان يتنبأ بها الانسان وهي خاضعة لنفس الاختبار السابق الا وهو falsification tests او مبدأ ايجاد الاخطاء حتى تتبين صحة الشيء المراد اختباره ,وهنا سوف نرى ماذا قال القران عن علاقة المسلمين مع اليهود والنصارى القران يقول ان اليهود هم اشد ان الناس عداوة للمسلمين في وهذا مستمر الى وقتنا الحاضر فاشد الناس عداوة للملسلمين هم اليهود " ويكمل الدكتور ملير : "ان هذا يعتبر تحدي عظيم ذلك ان اليهود لديهم الفرصة لهدم الاسلام بامر بسيط الا وهو ان يعاملوا المسلمين معاملة طيبة لبضع سنين ويقولون عندها :ها نحن نعاملكم معاملة طيبة والقران يقول اننا اشد الناس عداوة لكم ,اذن القران خطأ ! , ولكن هذا لم يحدث خلال 1400 سنة !! ولن يحدث لان هذا الكلام نزل من الذي يعلم الغيب وليس انسان !!" يكمل الدكتور ملير : " هل رايتم ان الاية التي تتكلم عن عداوة اليهود للمسلمين تعتبر تحدي للعقول !! " " لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الَّذِينَ قَالُوَاْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ 82وَإِذَا سَمِعُواْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَى أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُواْ مِنَ الْحَقِّ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ 83 وَمَا لَنَا لاَ نُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَمَا جَاءنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَن يُدْخِلَنَا رَبَّنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الصَّالِحِينَ 84 " المائدة وعموما هذة الاية تنطبق على الد كتور ملير حيث انه من النصارى الذي عندما علم الحق آمن و دخل الاسلام واصبح داعية له .....وفقه الله يكمل الدكتور ملير عن اسلوب فريد في القران اذهله لاعجازه : " بدون ادنى شك يوجد في القران توجه فريد ومذهل لا يوجد في اي مكان اخر ,وذلك ان القران يعطيك معلومات معينة ويقول لك : لم تكن تعلمها من قبل !! مثل : سورة آل عمران " ذلك من انباء الغيب نوحيه اليك وما كنت لديهم اذ يلقون اقلامهم ايهم يكفل مريم وما كنت لديهم اذ يختصمون "44 سورة هود " تلك من انباء الغيب نوحيها اليك ما كنت تعلمها انت ولا قومك من قبل هذا فاصبر ان العاقبة للمتقين "49 سورة يوسف " ذلك من انباء الغيب نوحيه اليك وما كنت لديهم اذ اجمعوا امرهم وهم يمكرون "102 يكمل الدكتور ملير : " لا يوجد كتاب مما يسمى بالكتب الدينية المقدسة يتكلم بهذا الاسلوب , كل الكتب الاخرى عبارة عن مجموعة من المعلومات التي تخبرك من اين اتت هذه المعلومات , على سبيل المثال الكتاب المقدس (الانجيل المحرف ) عندما يناقش قصص القدماء فهو يقول لك الملك فلان عاش هنا وهذا القائد قاتل هنا معركة معينة وشخص اخر كان له عدد كذا من الابناء واسماءهم فلان وفلان ..الخ . ولكن هذا الكتاب (الانجيل المحرف) دائما يخبرك اذا كنت تريد المزيد من المعلومات يمكنك ان تقرأ الكتاب الفلاني اوالكتاب الفلاني لان هذه المعلومات اتت منه " يكمل الدكتور ملير : " بعكس القران الذي يمد القارىء بالمعلومة ثم يقول لك هذه معلومة جديدة !! بل ويطلب منك ان تتأكد منها ان كنت مترددا في صحة القران بطريقة لا يمكن ان تكون من عقل بشر. والمذهل في الامر هو اهل مكة في ذلك الوقت -اي وقت نزول هذه الايات - ومرة بعد مرة كانوا يسمعونها ويسمعون التحدي بان هذه معلومات جديدة لم يكن يعلمها محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ولا قومه , بالرغم من ذلك لم يقولوا: هذا ليس جديدا بل نحن نعرفه , ابدا لم يحدث ان قالوا مثل ذلك ولم يقولوا : نحن نعلم من اين جاء محمد بهذه المعلومات , ايضا لم يحدث مثل هذا , ولكن الذي حدث ان احدا لم يجرؤ على تكذيبه او الرد عليه لا نها فعلا معلومات جديدة كليا !!! وليست من عقل بشر ولكنها من الله الذي يعلم الغيب في الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل " جزاك الله خيرا يا دكتور ملير على هذا التدبر الجميل لكتاب الله في زمن قل فيه التدبر جزا الله خيرا من أعان على نشر هذا المقال.
