Have You Seen "Paradise Now?"

ADC Update: Have You Seen "Paradise Now?" http://www.adc.org/index.php?id=2656 Washington, DC, November 11, 2005--Since its release in October, the film "Paradise Now," which follows two Palestinian young men in the occupied West Bank, has generated a lot of controversy, received much media attention, and been submitted for Oscar consideration for best foreign language film. The critically acclaimed and award winning film is directed by Palestinian filmmaker Hany Abu Assad, who is known for his previous international award winning films "Rana’s Wedding" and "Ford Transit." To read ADC’s interview with film director Hany Abu Assad visit http://www.adc.org/index.php?id=2637 Despite efforts by Warner Brothers to get the word out about this movie, box office ticket sales have been quite low. So, please encourage your friends to see this film. Below you will find the most up to date listing of theatres showing "Paradise Now." Yes I did 2 weeks ago at
Sunshine Cinema but it is also showing at Lincoln Plaza Theater
The move theater had a survey for the audience after the show too.
People did not move from their seats for almost 5 minutes after the end, trying to let it sink in.
